CEREC (Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics) uses a high quality ceramic material that closely matches the natural color of a patient’s teeth to provide an ideal outcome. A small hand-held camera, in association with a computer, captures images of a prepared tooth and the surrounding areas to create a three dimensional model. Virtual impressions taken with this technology are accurate, quick and eliminate uncomfortable, gooey impressions. The images are sent to a local dental lab to have the appropriate restoration fabricated. The state of the art restoration can be seated on the same day at our office if needed. These restorations include full coverage crowns, veneers and onlay/inlay fillings.
